Be prepared for an early start! Your will meet 45 mins before first light at Chateau Yering Hotel Yarra Valley.

The balloon ride is a commercial passenger flight, there will be other passengers in the balloon. Following this, your picnic experience is self guided so you can go at your own pace.
Ballooning is not permitted for pregnant passengers. All passengers are prohibited from smoking / vaping or having any flammable items in their possession during the ballooning experience.

Food and dietaries
We won’t give away too much here, it is part of the mystery after all! But you can safely expect gourmet foods from local artisan producers, including your traditional picnic foods (such as cheese, meats, fruits and crackers etc.). And naturally, as artisan producers will be unique to the different destinations, the final picnic content varies slightly between them.
Absolutely! We can cater for most dietary needs for no additional charge, including gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Customers can also outline any allergies we should be aware of at the time of booking. We recommend pescatarians book as vegetarians.
Inclusions
Pricing is based on two adults.
Aside from your hot air balloon ride, transport is not included. You will need a car to explore and complete your day trip.
All food and wine will be covered in the cost of your experience, including picnic supplied for your perfect picnic spot.
On the day
We recommend allowing around 8 hours, including enjoying your picnic. You can certainly take longer as you explore the region!
This allows 3-4 hours for the hot air balloon experience and around 4 hours for your picnic experience.
Your digital experience instructions for your picnic will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to your selected date. Post-purchase, your confirmation email will detail all the necessary information about timing and what to pack.
No local knowledge is required to solve the clues on the day. Whether you know the region well, or it's your first visit, the experience is designed to guide you discover new things during your visit!
We will always have a picnic spot planned for you; be that a picnic area, a park or even a winery. Please note that picnic set up is not included so you are welcome to find a spot and settle in to eat. We also recommend bringing along a picnic blanket if you have one, in case you decide to settle on the grass.
Cancellation and changes
We require 14 days notice to cancel your experience, or 7 days if you wish to reschedule.
If your flight is cancelled by the pilot due to weather you will be contacted with the option to reschedule your whole experience or the hot air balloon component only.
Bookings are valid for 12 months, alternatively, you can opt for a refund within 14 days of your original cancelled flight date.
