Frequently asked questions
What kind of stops are included?
Expect to visit 5-6 stops with opportunities to explore other recommendations along the way. At your included stops, you’ll get to sample local gourmet produce and drinks. This could include a wine tasting, cheese sampling, or visiting a chocolaterie. Stops vary from region to region.
Can you accommodate for dietary requirements?
You can make a note of your dietary requirements at the time of book. Some of the typical ones we cater for are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Important note: The Vegan experience only caters to vegan food, and not vegan wine.
Do I need to pay for tastings on the day?
All tastings as part of the experience are covered in the cost of your experience. Our providers offer all sorts of goodies, so if something catches your eye you might like to make additional purchases. However, this is not necessary.
When will I get my clues?
You’ll get your clues via email a day or two before your experience, after which you'll have all your clues, games and puzzles ready to go! Please note, you'll need a mobile phone with internet access the day of your experience.
What will the day look like?
Let us know what time you would like to start your experience and we will organise your day to flow from there! We recommend getting started around 10am.
How long does the experience go for?
This is a full-day experience so allow 6-7 hours.
What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?
As we pre-plan and book you in for your stops along the way, we need 3 days notice if you wish to reschedule or cancel your experience.
What is your wet weather policy?
Most of our providers offer an indoor or undercover space, and experiences can go ahead in wet weather. But if you'd prefer to reschedule your experience due to rain we'll need 3 days notice, so we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast in rainier seasons.
