Our ultra-limited Neighbourhood Taster experience sets you off on a journey of discovery to capture the heart and soul of Fitzroy - so get ready to visit the quirkiest bars, see the best sights, sample delicious cuisine and immerse yourself in its rich culture.
It's a mystery tour so expect a fascinating afternoon of adventure, with clues to solve and activities to try along the way!
What does the experience entail?
After cracking your first clue you'll set out to a local watering hole where you'll get a delicious welcome drink. You'll then go on to explore the best of what this melting pot has to offer, visiting carefully selected locations and tasting local food & drink, all included as part of your Neighbourhood Taster experience.
Our digital guide is packed with local stories, fun games and discussion topics, so prepare to uncover every hidden nook and cranny about this happening area and come away with a list of favourite hotspots to return to.

How does it work?
This is a self-guided, self-paced walking experience. It'll take about 4-5 hours and you'll use your phone to solve clues and unlock multiple stops throughout. At each stop there is an activity for you to do which we have already organised and paid on your behalf - think food, drink, crafts, photos, sites and much more!
How long will the experience take?
Roughly about 4-5 hours with some time to explore things afterwards!
How many people can go on this experience?
When you book, the booking automatically includes two people. If you want to do the experience in a bigger group you'll just need to book in lots of two people, but you can absolutely still do it together as a group. Just contact us after you've booked the experience and let us know you're a single group to be seated together!
What about COVID?
We have made this experience compliant with COVID restrictions in terms of social distancing and capacity numbers in venues. We have made every effort to ensure this is as safe as possible, however, if you are concerned, do feel free to wear a mask and bring some sanitiser with you on your experience!
When will I get my digital experience?
A day or two before the experience you’ll get an email with a link to your digital instructions. That's where you'll be able to find all your clues, games and puzzles, all ready to go! To be able to access them on the day of your experience you'll need a mobile phone with internet access, so make sure to bring that along.
Do I need to know the area well to solve the clues?
Nope! No local knowledge is required to solve the clues on the day. Whether you know the area well, or it's your first visit, the experience is designed to guide you to discover new things during your visit!
What should I wear?
Whatever you like! Best to take note of the weather on the day of the experience and make sure you wear shoes you're comfortable walking in as there is a small amount of walking between the different stops.
Can I drive?
This is a walking experience so you will need to be on foot to move from stop to stop. You will also have a few alcoholic drinks included in the adventure so we generally recommend getting to and from the area via public transport or cab/rideshare. Plus, as we all know, parking can be a bit tricky ;)
Can you tailor for dietary requirements?
We can cater for dietaries including vegetarian, and gluten-free. Simply make sure you let us know when you make your booking!
