A confirmation email with a PDF printable Gift Card will be emailed to you. If you schedule your Gift Card to be sent to your recipient, it will be emailed at 9am on the date you set.

Whenever you choose! We'll always send you a confirmation email shortly after your order has come through that will have the gift card attached as a PDF. But we can also send the gift card directly to your recipient on the day of your choice if you’d like!
You sure can! When you customise your gift card, you’ll have the option of having it delivered directly to your recipient over email. You can choose to send it to them right away, or schedule the gift card to be sent at a future date of your choosing.
If you choose to send it right away, we’ll send it to your recipient at the same time we send your confirmation email. If you choose to schedule the gift card to be sent on a future date, we’ll send it nice and early in the morning - before 9 am - according to the time zone you pick for the delivery.
Select 'Only email it to me' in Step 3. Your confirmation email will contain a print ready PDF that you can print at home and place inside your preferred greeting card. Alternatively you can forward the PDF digitally, or have it sent directly to your recipient.
Certainly! Here through our gift card page, you can select either an experience or a value when creating your gift card. So you can give your recipient something like a ‘Mystery Picnic Date with Wine for 2 people’, or simply give them a monetary value to spend however they choose.
You can also browse the experiences we have available where your recipient lives, and when you find one you like, choose to ‘Give as a Gift’ directly on the experience page!
Yes they sure can! When redeeming their gift card the lucky recipient will be able to choose any experience they like. Even if the gift card is for a specific experience, rest assured the recipient can choose to use its value to book a different experience upon redeeming it if they wish.
Nope, it’s completely up to you if you do or don’t! You can find and pick a specific destination for your recipient and tailor your gift to them, or you can give them one of our pre-populated experience gift cards and let them pick the destination.
The best way to get a gift for a large group of people is to do so directly from the experience page! Browse our available experiences in your recipients’ city, and when you find one you’d like to give, simply select “Give as a Gift” from the experience page. You can then add the number of adults and kids, pick any add ons you’d like to include and more! You can then go on to customise the gift card itself with your preferred design, message and delivery - all directly on the experience page!
If you’d like to tailor each gift card for each recipient, and include a different message for each, the best way to get multiple gift cards is to simply put them through one-by-one using any of the options mentioned above. However, if you’re looking to get more than 10 gift cards, and are happy with the same message on each of them, you can always contact our team to request a bulk order!

All our gift cards come with a 3-year validity from the purchase date. Plenty of time for your recipient to find an experience they’ll love!
Simply find your perfect experience online, during checkout you'll have the option to add a Gift or Coupon code. Enter your unique code in this field to redeem the value of your gift.
Yes! If the recipient of your gift card has a redeemable discount code at the time of redeeming their gift card they can use both the gift card and the code at checkout. However, gift cards can not be used in conjunction with referral codes at this stage.
If the experience you picked costs more than your gift card amount, you can simply pay the remaining balance using a credit card or PayPal. If you picked an experience that costs less than your gift card value, we’ll store the amount for you for future use! Or, you can always see if there are any add ons that tickles your fancy - perhaps you can add a bottle of wine to enjoy?

Unfortunately at this stage you cannot reload your gift card, but you can always use it as part of a mixed payment, and top up with a credit card or PayPal payment as well as your gift card.
Our premium option is upgraded to include a bonus stop with an extra item to collect, as well as drinks and a specialty snack to enjoy along the way! The item and snack vary between routes but could be something like a gelato stop, and some pastries to enjoy along the way.
Absolutely! Your recipient is able to choose from our available dietary options (vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free) at the time of booking to tailor their experience. Larger groups and families can specify certain dietary requirements for some attendees, for instance, if one or two attendees are vegan but the rest are not.
Unfortunately most Mystery Picnic destinations are not dog friendly, however, there are some options where the end picnic location does allow dogs and they’d be welcome to come along! Check with our team to see if any picnic destinations are dog friendly in your city.
