What is a Sidedoor by AmazingCo experience?

A Sidedoor is a self-guided local tasting and discovery experience exclusively available to guests who purchase a Candlelight Concert. Using your smartphone to access a digital guide, you’ll explore the neighbourhood uncovering hidden gems. You’ll visit a venue with a paired tasting experience, and a venue hosting exclusive beverage discounts. Throughout the evening your digital itinerary will guide you to play themed games and conversation starters, customised to your chosen Candlelight Concert.

Does the order of the evening depend on the concert start time and location?

Yes. The itinerary is optimised to suit the time of your concert.

Collingwood or Fitzroy Concerts

If you have booked the Sidedoor experience available for Collingwood or Fitzroy Concerts, your options will be -

🕟 If your concert starts at 4:30 pm you will start with your Candlelight concert, followed by a paired food and drink tasting experience included in the price. We will then reveal the mystery bar where you can access an exclusive discount if you wish to continue your night out.

🕡 ​​If your concert starts at 6.30 pm or 8:30 pm you will enjoy the food and drink tasting before the concert, then cap off your night at the mystery bar.

Atheneaum Concerts

If you have booked the Sidedoor experience available for Atheneaum Concerts, your options will be -

🕣 If your concert starts at 4:30 pm you will start with your Candlelight concert, followed by a paired food and drink tasting experience included on the price. We will then reveal the mystery bar where you can access an exclusive discount if you wish to continue your night out.

🕣 If your concert starts at 6:30 pm you will begin with an exclusive discount at a mystery bar, before heading to your Candlelight concert. Afterwards, you will enjoy a paired food and drink tasting experience included in the price.

🕣 If your concert starts at 8:30 pm you will enjoy the food and drink tasting before the concert, then cap off your night at the mystery bar.

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium Concerts

If you have booked the Sidedoor Dinner experience available for Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium Concerts, your options will be -

🕡 If your concert starts at 6:45 pm you will begin with an exclusive discount at a mystery bar, before heading to your Candlelight concert. After, you will enjoy a wine and 5-plate dining experience included in the price.

🕣 If your concert starts at 8:20 or 8:30 pm enjoy the wine and 5-plate dining experience before the concert, then cap off your night at the mystery bar.

Where is the experience located?

It’s a mystery! These stops are designed to help you explore the area, highlight great venues in the neighbourhood and complement your Candlelight Concert. Both mystery venues will be within easy walking distance from the Candlelight Concert. Altogether, the walking route is approximately 1.5km.

Does the experience take place in indoor or outdoor venues?

All the venues featured in this experience will have indoor seating areas.

How long does the experience last?

This experience, combined with your Candlelight Concert, takes approximately 3 - 4 hours to complete. (Roughly 1 - 1.5 hours on either side of your Candlelight Concert.)

Will additional food and beverages be available for purchase?

Absolutely! You will be able to purchase more food and beverages at the venues you visit if you wish, and we encourage you to do so. The Sidedoor experience is a paired tasting, showcasing a sample of what the venue has to offer.

How will I receive my experience?

Our experience guide is provided electronically. AmazingCo will send you a link to this guide by 5 pm the day before your experience via email. This link will guide you from one location to the next.

I haven’t received my experience. What should I do?

If you haven't received your experience by 5 pm the day before your Candlelight experience, please first check your email junk or spam folder.

If you still can't find them, contact AmazingCo directly by phone at 1300 307 750 or email hello@amazingco.me. Ensure you include your full name in the enquiry and use the same email address that you utilised when purchasing your ticket.

I booked via Apple Pay, what should I do? 

If you booked via Apple Pay, please contact us at hello@amazingco.me as soon as possible and provide your personal email address so we can send you your booking details.

Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?

Tickets are non-refundable, except if you purchased a Flexible Refund Ticket with your Candlelight Concert ticket. A Flexible Refund Ticket allows you to reschedule hassle-free or claim a refund when you cancel up to 48 hours before the start time. No questions asked!

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Animals are not allowed, except for service animals.

Are dietaries accommodated?

For this experience we can accommodate standard or vegetarian dietaries with no additional charge. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate other dietaries at this time.

Are the venues accessible?

Whilst the venues are accessible for all ticket holders, please note that you’ll be required to walk between venues. The walking route is approximately 1.5km.

What are the prohibited items at the experience? Can I smoke or vape?

Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all of the venues.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Feel free to take photos of your Sidedoor experience and share them. However, at the Candlelight Concert, photos and videos can only be taken during the final piece and without flash, as indicated by our musicians.

Is there an age requirement?

This experience includes alcohol tastings, ticket holders must be 18+

Is there a minimum or maximum number of people who can do a Sidedoor by AmazingCo?

Sidedoor requires a minimum of 2 people. Currently the maximum group size is 6 - if you have more people than this please reach out to see what we can accommodate!

I want to join an individual or group who has already booked this experience, is this possible? 

Yes! If you have booked an individual ticket but plan on attending with another individual or group, please let us know their name and we will ensure you're seated together on your Sidedoor experience.
